Parent & Me
You're on the turf with your little one. Rolling, chasing, first kicks, parachute time — 30 minutes of movement built around a toddler's attention span.
Coming soon to Westfield, NJ
Kick & Grow is a new indoor movement and soccer studio for ages 18 months to 9 — built by a special education teacher and an engineer who are also Westfield parents.

Why we're building this
We visited the toddler programs around us and kept hearing the same thing: the youngest classes are the busiest, lots of kids need a little extra help to focus and join in, and parents want to be part of it. So we designed a studio around exactly that.
Sara has spent 20+ years helping kids who need a little more support to focus, join in, and feel successful. Every class is designed with that lens: predictable routines, visual cues, sensory breaks, and small groups.
Taking turns, listening to a coach, cheering for a friend, trying again after a miss. The ball is the excuse; the growth is the point.
For our youngest groups, you're part of the class. For older kids, you watch from a comfortable parent lounge behind a full-height net — close enough to cheer, far enough to let them shine.
About 1,100 sq ft of turf with padded walls, mini goals, and a safe barrier so stray balls stay on the field. Cubbies, stroller parking, and seating up front.
Programs

You're on the turf with your little one. Rolling, chasing, first kicks, parachute time — 30 minutes of movement built around a toddler's attention span.

Small groups, a visual schedule, and the same routine every week. Kids learn to wait their turn, follow a coach, and dribble, pass, and score — parents stay close by.

Technical training in a premium indoor lane: dribbling, passing, shooting, agility, 1v1 to 3v3. Confidence first, competition second.
Also planning: private lessons and small-group skills for ages 7–9, birthday parties, and school-break camps.
Our story
We're Richard and Sara Batista. Sara has taught special education in New Jersey for more than 20 years. Richard leads engineering teams in New York City. We live in Westfield, and we wanted a place where our own kids — and every kid — could move, play, and grow with coaches who really get them.
We're building Kick & Grow in the open. Follow along as the turf goes down, the goals go up, and the first families walk through the door.

Questions
We're building the space now and documenting every step on YouTube. Founding families get the exact date first, plus an invite to a free trial class before we open to the public.
Right here in Westfield, NJ. We're Westfield residents ourselves, and we're building this for our neighbors. The exact address goes out to the waitlist first.
18 months through 9 years, with our heart in the 18-month-to-7-year range. Classes are grouped tightly by age and stage so nobody is the biggest or the smallest.
Yes — that's a big part of why we're building Kick & Grow. Tell us about your child in the form and we'll make sure you're in a group that fits.
Not at all. Most of our kids have never touched a ball. We start with movement, balance, and following along — the soccer grows out of that, at each child's pace.
Nothing. It's a free spot in line. You'll get a few updates as we build, then your trial-class invite and founding-member pricing when doors open.
Westfield-area parents are already following the build. Save your spot and we'll invite you to a free trial class before we open.
